The UK setup marks DCGpac’s second overseas move, following its earlier entry into the UAE. It also signals the company’s push into the UK and European Union markets.

DCGpac said the new entity is expected to serve as a regional operations hub, with a focus on sustainable packaging offerings.

The company plans to support the business using manufacturing resources in India, alongside an AI-driven procurement and supply chain system.

It also pointed to potential benefits from prospective India–UK and India–EU free trade agreements.

DCGpac co-founder and executive director Seema Bansal added: “With the India–UK and India–EU FTAs opening unprecedented opportunities, the UK is a natural gateway to Europe for DCGpac.

“Launching our UK subsidiary and signing our first major export contract simultaneously reflects the strong confidence global customers place in our capabilities.”

Shortly after launching the new unit, DCGpac said it secured its first major export deal with a UK-based multinational organisation. Initial shipments under the contract are due to begin this month.

To run the operation locally, the company has assigned dedicated teams in the UK to manage day-to-day work and customer relationships.

DCGpac also announced a partnership with UKHI. The joint effort will focus on raw material development and circular packaging solutions, linking manufacturing, distribution, local fulfilment, AI-supported supply chain management, and recycling across the UK and EU.

UKHI founder and director Vishal Vivek said: “Our partnership with DCGpac brings together advanced raw material innovation, sustainability, and global scale.

“By combining UKHI’s circular and compostable material expertise with DCGpac’s manufacturing strength, AI platforms, and international reach, we are enabling UK and European customers to adopt future-ready packaging solutions without compromising on quality, cost, or performance.”

Last month, DCGpac opened a new facility in Noida, India, intended to expand its internal production capacity for sustainable packaging materials.
