The Yarza Twins and Lupia Craft Beer Celebrate Single-Hop Purity

These cans ditch the usual craft beer visual language and instead feel like a joyful little deep dive into a world built around hops.

Lupia Craft Beer, designed by the Yarza Twins, was created from scratch with hops as the absolute center of the story. Each beer celebrates a single hop variety (like Magnum or Nugget) and never blends them. The hand-drawn illustrations are doing the real work, translating flavour and aroma into a playful visual language. Magnum leans lighter and more floral with delicate forms, while Nugget goes darker and more herbal with denser, earthier illustrations. Bold, condensed typography is the boldest part of the design, giving the name a confident, standout presence.

Eva Yarza, Co-Founder and Creative Director of Yarza Twins, details the design process below.
