Butterfly Cannon Offers a Doorway Into Monte Rosso

Butterfly Cannon Offers a Doorway Into Monte Rosso

  • Wine identity for Monte Rosso Estate designed by Butterfly Cannon
  • Minimal arched label inspired by the historic winery doorway with balanced typography
  • Deep red label references the iron rich Monte Rosso soils while creating a striking focal point on the bottle

Monte Rosso Estate, with design by Butterfly Cannon, introduces a minimal label system that doesn’t feel dull.

The label itself draws inspiration from the historic doorway of the Monte Rosso winery, creating an arched silhouette that sets it apart from rectangular wine labels. The typography is centered and symmetrically arranged, creating a quiet authority. The deep red tone of the label references the iron-rich volcanic soils of the Monte Rosso vineyard while also connecting to the visual language of classic red wine.
