Packard Proof Pays Homage To the Packard Motor Car

  • Packard Proof spirits by Wenzel Distillery feature a precision inspired identity designed by Durham Studio
    • Industrial typography, deep green labels, and the Goddess of Speed emblem reference historic Packard automotive design
    • The system brings an engineering mindset to modern craft spirits branding, creating a clean and intentional bottle presence

Who said industrial design can’t influence packaging design? I hope no one, because Packard Proof, designed by Durham Studio, draws inspiration from the world of early automotive manufacturing, translating the craftsmanship of the historic Packard Motor Car Company factories into a spirits identity.

At the center of the design sits the Goddess of Speed symbol, a winged figure inspired by the Packard hood ornaments. Meanwhile, the color palette pairs deep green with clean metallic silver and crisp white.
