Cartonpack acquires Clifton Packaging

Cartonpack acquires Clifton Packaging

Italy’s Cartonpack Group has taken over Clifton Packaging Group, a UK-based provider of flexible food packaging solutions.

The acquisition enhances Cartonpack’s flexible packaging solutions portfolio and strengthens its presence in the UK.

Founded in 1981 and headquartered in Leicester, Clifton Packaging Group serves a diverse range of blue-chip clients, particularly focusing on the protein and snacks markets.

Clifton’s emphasis on recyclable films and expertise in resealable pouches positions it as a key player in sustainable packaging solutions.

Clifton’s CEO Shane D’Souza will continue to lead the company’s management team.

The integration of Clifton Packaging into Cartonpack Group’s portfolio will enhance both companies’ capabilities to meet the rising demand for high-quality, sustainable packaging.
