There’s nothing more nostalgic than homemade cookies gifted to you by a family member in an old tin. Seeing brands still leaning into designing tins that people want to keep on their shelves long after the contents are gone fills my heart with joy.
Courtesy of Design Bridge, Fortnum and Mason’s Whoppalossus comes housed in large, circular tin with a purple and gold outer ring spelling its namesake in oversized individual letter blocks. The center of the lid features a ring of illustrated tigers in full stride, in a style that pulls directly from Fortnum and Mason’s long tradition of decorative illustration. A teal blob shape at the center highlights the product description, creating a deliberate contrast between the exuberant outer ring and a more refined inner moment.
It’s a range filled with color and whimsy, aligned with all of what Fortnum and Mason is prized for.
