Hi Estudio! Turns Mezcal Bottle Into Gorg Sculpture For Luz De Olvido

Inspired by the ritual and allure of mezcal, LUZ DE OLVIDO MEZCAL’s packaging, crafted by Hi Estudio!, looks more like a piece of gorg sculpture than a simple container.

The bottle’s unique shape tells a story of ancestral traditions, while subtle, flowing lines etched into the glass are intended to reflect mezcal’s deep connection to the earth. The wooden stopper adds a warm, organic touch, honoring the artisanal craftsmanship and profound respect for nature that defines this spirit. Each detail of the design has been thoroughly considered and executed with exacting precision.

Alan Aguiñaga, Industrial Designer and Co-Founder HI! Estudio dives into the creative process below.
