Is Muesli Back? BrandOpus Refreshes Alpen To Get Consumers To Reconsider the Breakfast Staple

Muesli, a traditional breakfast dish made from rolled oats and fruit, has lost popularity. Given the popularity of similar oat-based breakfasts like granola and overnight oats (or, as we used to call it, porridge), it seems muesli is due for a comeback.

Weetabix’s Alpen, created in 1971, has recently refreshed its brand identity to reconnect with consumers looking for a healthy and hearty breakfast. Alpen tasked studio BrandOpus with contemporizing its brand identity and getting consumers to consider muesli as an alternative to granola and oatmeal.
