Tavern’s RTD Hyper Blast is Fueled By Vintage Jet Skiing

  • Hyper Blast is a new caffeinated and malt-flavored beverage created by the Brooklyn-based agency Tavern.
  • Inspired by the jetskiing of yore, Tavern built out an immersive brand universe that includes other jet-ski-inspired entities.

Take a look around the world of action and motorsports, and you’ll likely see many Ready-to-Drink (RTD) brands represented, including energy, beer, and flavored malt beverages (FMB), usually as sponsors.

Hyper Blast is an FMB that doesn’t come into the action sports world as a sponsor. Instead, it’s a new brand inspired by the 80s and 90s era of jet skiing (which is perhaps the first time we’ve ever written that). Designed by Tavern, Hyper Blast’s brand identity is intentional in its retro vibe, with the studio doing a deep dive into the lore of lake speed demons and their trusty steeds.
